QuangNinh University of Industry organized a seminar on "Career guidance for students in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0"

     Attending the Conference were Mr. Ngo Van Hoi - Deputy Director of Department of Education and Training; representatives of Department of Science and Technology, Union of Provincial Science and Technology Associations, QuangNinh Provincial Union; representatives of the Business Association and some typical businesses in QuangNinh province; delegates of scientists participating in the exchange and discussion at the forum; Leaders, teachers and students of high schools in QuangNinh province. On the side of Qui, there is PhD. Hoang Hung Thang - Secretary of the Party Committee, the Rector; comrades in the Party Executive Committee, the Trade Union Executive Committee, the Heads in charge of the faculties, centers along with typical students.

     At the seminar, the delegates listened to scientists and experts exchanging contents related to opportunities and challenges of Industry 4.0; STEM education in high schools; Career guidance in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0. Students have asked many questions for scientists and experts such as: How to choose an appropriate career that suits one’s capacity?; What career directions does Industry 4.0 era open?; what students need in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 ?; How must training activities in the school change to meet the increasing and diverse needs of learners, employers and the working environment? ...

 

      

     Workshop "Career guidance for students in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0" is within the framework of Science and Technology Contest for High School Students in the school year 2018-2019; It is an opportunity for students to  receive information related to the context of globalization, international integration trends; Opportunities and challenges of Industry 4.0; understand basic requirements in study and employment, promotethe start-up among students to meet the development needs of Vietnam in the context of the 4th Industrial Revolution. At the same time, it contributes to propaganda, promote training activities - Scientific research and the image of Qui; further promote the cooperation between the university and the Department of Education and Training as well as high schools in the province of QN in training and scientific research.
