QUI’s students receive Toyota scholarships in 2019

Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV), in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Training, awarded the Toyota 2019 Scholarship to universities in the North and North Central regionson October 9, 2019, in VinhPhuc province.
QUI’s students receive Toyota scholarships in 2019
   The program has been implemented annually by TMV since 1997, in order to contribute to encourage and enhance the learning spirit of students; at the same time, making a positive contribution to the cause of developing human resources for industry in particular and Vietnam’s society in general.
  This year, TMV continues to award 115 scholarships (total value of 690 millionVND) to excellent students in automotive, mechanics, engineering and environment of 16 universities across the country. So far, the Program has awarded a total of nearly 2,268 scholarships, some of whom have joined the “Toyota family" and made significant contributions to TMV. In addition, the Program will also donate the equipment for the teaching activities of the above-mentioned universities, including: engines, gearboxes, bridges, steering axles, front axle systems and engine control clusters.…
Ms. Do Thu Hoang, Deputy General Director of TMV, said: “This morning, you had a chance to visit and experienced the Toyota production system, as well as listened to the sharing of career orientation at TMV. Hopefully, you will better understand Toyota and have a clearer picture of the future career path”.
   QuangNinh University of Industry has 6 students who received a Toyota scholarship including 2 students in Automotive Engineering and 4 students in Electrical and Electronics Technology this year. These students are withexcellent academic achievements and have scientific work of practical significance. On behalf of the students receiving this year's Toyota scholarship, Hoang Minh Viet, a 4th year student of the University's Electrical and Electronics Technology Department, moved emotionally: “The scholarship is really a meaningful reward, in addition to the value of material support for study, it is also a great encouragement for students to continue studying and train better”.He also sent thanks to Toyota Motor Company Vietnam.
   In addition to the Toyota Scholarship Program, TMV has been implementing many meaningful social contribution activities in the field of education and human resource development, such as: Toyota Scholarship to support young Vietnamese music talents, Technician training program for Toyota, Monozukuri Course, Toyota International Painting Competition - topic "A dream car". Thereby, TMV wishes to contribute positively in improving the quality of human resources, in order to create a young and talented generation of young people who actively contribute to the prosperous development of the country.
