The Delegation of Lanzhou University of Technology (China) led by Dr. Ren Peng - Vice Dean of International Faculty of Lanzhou University, paid a visit to QuangNinhUnivesity of Industry on December 26th, 2019. Dr. Hoang Hung Thang - Secretary of the Party Committee, the Rector, comrades of the Board of the Rectors and some related units welcomed them.
During the meeting, Dr. Hoang Hung Thang shared about the school's facilities, teaching staff, training majors as well as its contributions to train technical staff for socio-economic development of QuangNinh Province in particular and the Northeast in general; the advantages as well as difficulties in the development of the University in the coming time.
Dr. Ren shared about Lanzhou University of Technology. Founded in 1909, Lanzhou University is one of the top national universities in China. The school currently has up to six training facilities with about 30,000 students currently enrolled. Lanzhou College has a wide range of Bachelor and Master's degree programs taught in English, some of which have scholarship programs. This university offers students a variety of housing options along with medical care. The Doctor was especially impressed by the students of QuangNinh University of Industry who are studying postgraduate at Lanzhou University. Also during this visit, the delegation of Lanzhou University of Technology visited the lessons of students at Flic (Foreign languages, informatics Centre).
QuangNinhUniversity of Industry is very pleased to welcome Lan Chau University of Technology to visit and work. This is an opportunity for the two universities to introduce, exchange and share common information, vision and future directions as well as the achievements of the two universities in good international cooperation with partners in the area. The meeting has initially created good trust and impression between the two sides, thereby creating a solid foundation for the development of long-term and good cooperative relations between the two universities.
